Carol Beatrice

Carol Beatrice is an accomplished photographer of various subjects including nature, architecture, street scenes, portraits, and common objects found in unusual places. A North Kingstown resident for over 50 years, Carol has also traveled the world, capturing shots on five continents.

Victoria Bishop

Victoria Bishop is a watercolor artist known for her vivid abstract style and expressive use of color. A self-taught artist with a background in music, she creates work that emphasizes emotion, flow, and personal interpretation. She exhibits widely throughout New England and is active in several Rhode Island art organizations.

Antoinette Campbell-Hunter

Antoinette Campbell-Hunter’s early passion for art led her from engineering and technical illustration back to creative expression. Now painting full time in oils and acrylics, her work reflects a distinctive style shaped by life experience and imagination.

Maryann Chagnon

Maryann Chagnon’s work is driven by an ongoing exploration of color, light, and atmosphere. Working primarily in oils, she paints still lifes, landscapes, and portraits with a focus on mood and detail. Her work reflects years of study and a lifelong commitment to artistic growth.

Jeff Fischer

Jeff Fischer is a sculptor based in Newport, Rhode Island, with over five decades of experience working in wood. His bird sculptures use simplified, stylized forms to capture the grace and elegance of nature. His work has been exhibited widely and is represented by Jessica Hagen Fine Arts in Newport.

Beth Goulet

Beth Goulet is a pastel artist whose work is deeply inspired by the natural world. Through vibrant color and expressive mark-making, she strives to capture the beauty and emotion of a single moment in time.

Gerry Grabowski

Gerry Grabowski’s photography is rooted in a lifelong appreciation for nature and the quiet beauty of the world around her. Working in a documentary and observational style, she captures landscapes, wildlife, and everyday moments with a focus on light, simplicity, and atmosphere.

Bonnie Jaffe

Bonnie Jaffe, a lifelong Rhode Islander, discovered her passion for photography at a young age and studied at RISD. Now focused on street, abstract, and documentary photography, her award-winning work is exhibited throughout the region.

David LaMontagne

David LaMontagne is an artist and master craftsman from Rhode Island with over forty-five years of experience. A dedicated plein air painter and lifelong “student of nature,” his work reflects a deep connection to light, landscape, and the beauty of the Ocean State.

Janet Maher

Janet Maher is an artist and educator whose work has been exhibited in at least 300 shows since the early 1970s. A former art professor and program director, she has spent her career developing curricula and community-based art programs. She continues her practice through her ongoing series Emergence and active exhibition work.

Christine Tullson Mathieu

Christine Tullson Mathieu is a contemporary plein air artist born in Providence, Rhode Island, who paints original watercolors and oils on location throughout New England. Her work has been widely exhibited in juried shows, museum exhibitions, and plein air festivals, and she is an award-winning artist recognized for her landscape painting. She is an active member of the Wickford Art Association and Westport Art Group.

Elaine Porter

A lifelong artist, Elane Porter’s paintings and fine art giclées are held in private and corporate collections worldwide, including Sony, Fuji, and Pranda Jewelry (Thailand). Her work is inspired by scenes that evoke a mood or tell a story about the world as she sees it.

Sharon Smith

Sharon Smith is an award-winning oil painter inspired by the beauty of everyday life, including still lifes, landscapes, and nature. She transforms ordinary subjects into expressive works and is active in several Rhode Island art associations as both an artist and teacher.

Janet Tobin

Janet Tobin is a watercolor artist who developed her practice through studies at RISD and workshops with local artists. Inspired by a family of artists, she now exhibits her work throughout Rhode Island and is an active member of local art associations.

David Zapatka

David Zapatka began his “Stars & Lights” night lighthouse project in 2013, later adopted by the United States Lighthouse Society in 2018 as “USA Stars & Lights.” He has since photographed nearly 300 lighthouses in 27 states and published four books, with over 1,200 images in the Society’s online collection
