Since 1962, the Wickford Art Association has been dedicated to supporting young artists by awarding scholarships to outstanding high school students across the state.
The Steven Klein Scholarship Program is designed to recognize and support high school students who exhibit exceptional talent, dedication, and a deep passion for the arts. Whether they aspire to pursue higher education in fine arts, design, photography, or other creative disciplines, this scholarship provides financial assistance to help remove barriers and empower them to achieve their artistic ambitions. By investing in these emerging artists, the Wickford Art Association fosters a future where creativity thrives and artistic expression continues to enrich our communities.

The Wickford Art Association has annually awarded scholarships to outstanding students in the community. In order to fund the awards, artists generously donate their fine art for a Raffle at the annual summer Wickford Art Festival. The Scholarship program awards help offset students’ college expenses, allowing them to focus on their continued studies in art.
The Wickford Art Association will hold the 2025 Raffle during the Wickford Art Festival on July 11 & 12, 2026, with the drawing taking place on Sunday, July 12, at Wilson Park. You can support this worthy cause by purchasing raffle tickets before or during the festival—winners do not need to be present to win!
Each year, our generous artists donate more than $10,000 worth of artwork, making this an exciting opportunity to take home a unique piece while supporting the arts. Tickets are available for $1 each, $5 for 8, or $10 for 16, and can be purchased at our gallery or by contacting us before the 63rd Wickford Art Festival. Winners will be notified via text, email, or phone call and may collect their prizes on a first-come, first-served basis at the time of the drawing on Sunday, July 13 or at the Gallery (36 Beach Street, North Kingstown, RI) Tuesday through Friday, Noon – 4:00 PM. Don’t miss your chance to win incredible artwork while contributing to a great cause!
