Carol Beatrice is an accomplished photographer of various subjects including nature, architecture, street scenes, portraits, and common objects found in unusual places. A North Kingstown resident for over 50 years, Carol has also traveled the world, capturing shots on five continents. The myriad strengths of her work are evident in her observational perspective, her artistic sensibility to preserve a moment in time, her ability to tell a story, and her portrayals of comfort or surprise.

Carol’s photos have graced the front page of North Kingstown’s Standard Times newspaper, South County Hospital’s annual calendar, and several independent films. Galleries in Rhode Island and Connecticut have exhibited her photography, as well. Additionally, the Friends of the National Wildlife Refuges of Rhode Island honored Carol for her distinguished efforts.

For decades, Carol has been a volunteer for the Wickford Art Association, and for the iconic, annual Wickford Art Festival. She continues to expand her knowledge of the art and craft of photography, often through classes and expeditions with instructor-photographers, Cindy Wilson and Jan Armor. Technically retired, Carol is a devoted mother and grandmother, and perpetual teacher, whose photographs remain the treasured prizes of her many family members, friends, and community.
