Students will be instructed to perform a few warm-up pencil exercises. Varying how the pencil is held and downward pressure applied will produce the desired stroke or line weight. You’ll experiment in drawing dune grasses, sand dunes, snow fence, shading techniques, etc. The goal is to create an imaginative composition of a beach scene with a lighthouse.
