Faces! Gesture, personality, symmetry — what makes someone the person you know? Working in students’ choice of materials (ink, charcoal, colored pencils, pastels, or paints) we will work on portraits of self and others. We’ll focus on what makes the subject special, and how to use art fundamentals such as contrast, focus, value, and balance to best portray your subject. Ages 12-100! We learn from each other and what we each see. Your preteens and teens are welcome to join us for this mixed age class, with or without an older family member.
