ANNUAL Raffle to support WAA Scholarships

Scholarship Program's "Raffle of Fine Art"

Since 1962, Wickford Art Association has annually awarded scholarships to outstanding students in the community. In order to fund the awards, artists generously donate their fine art for a Raffle at the annual summer Wickford Art Festival.  Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the July 11 &12 Festival has been cancelled.  All raffle tickets purchased prior to May 1 will be honored at the Fine Art Raffle during the 2021 Wickford Art Festival.  The raffle allows WAA to provide Scholarship Program awards $3,250 to 3 public high school students attending college the following fall, and a fourth $500 award is funded by the Rhode Island Art Education Association. The Scholarship program awards help offset students’ college expenses, allowing them to focus on their continued studies in art.

Buy Raffle Tickets and Support Emerging Artists from our Community!
WAA plans to hold the 2021 Raffle during the summer Wickford Art Festival on July 10 & 11, 2021.  You can support this worthy cause by buying raffle tickets: winners do not need to be present in order to win. Our artists donate more than $10,000 worth of art and you could win! Please stop in our gallery or contact us if you would like to purchase tickets before the 58th Wickford Art Festival. Artwork will be displayed online beginning in May 2021. You can also purchase tickets during the Festival itself; visit our information booth on Updike Park (corner of Brown and West Main)-- $1/ticket, $5/8, $10/16.

Art donated by May 1st is eligible for inclusion on the poster (one per artist, as space allows). Thank you for your support - donations are tax-deductible and will be acknowledged.
