Painting with Pastels: The Art of Oil Pastels with Ann Bianchi

Enjoy working in a variety of styles using luminous effects and colors of Oil Pastels – the art material which allows you to apply as a drawing and blend for beautiful painterly results. Benefit practice with application and color blending methods which are traditional to the material made famous by Pablo Picasso. We’ll then work together sampling textural techniques which will enhance our artwork. You’ll enjoy surprising results as we create from still life set ups as well as from your own landscape favorite photographs. These will inspire us with colors, and line shapes as we plan our art. We’ll develop sketches with pencil first, then work on our unique art. No art experience needed, just an excitement to create!
