5 to 7 PM (4 classes)
Did Santa bring you a new camera? Or, have you been so frustrated with your digital camera’s manual that you rely on automatic? Fret no more, join Cindy and learn about digital photography from the ground up. Together, we will explore terminology, your digital camera’s settings, menus, dials and knobs. We will practice exposure through the different settings of ISO, aperture and shutter speed, and also learn about proper focusing techniques. Finally, our class will look at composition guidelines to make your photos more pleasing to look at. There will be in class instruction, assignments and slide show discussion of our work. The winter is the best time to learn to use your camera; there is beautiful light to make images, and the starkness of nature is great subject matter.
Whether a beginner or a refresher, you will learn in this four-class series.
