"I'm blessed to be on this journey of creation each day of my life, painting and sharing my artwork, as well as teaching classes for amazing artists. Creating art has always been a way for me to share my favorite scenes and wonderful stories!" Ann has been painting and creating art for her entire life. She is a retired high school art educator with a passion for teaching and sharing the love of art. Ann specializes in creating portraits of animals, nature, landscapes, and ocean scenes. She  often works  in a classical Impressionistic style but also believes in the importance of continual exploration and variety—experimenting with abstract styles,  focusing on color and design. Enjoy her classes in various materials, such as pencil drawing, acrylic painting, collage, oil pastel , watercolor and mixed media. She encourages everyone to sample many varieties of art materials. Ann structures her classes to assist artists in building confidence, developing distinctive styles, and most importantly, experiencing joy in the creative process. Ann displays her artwork for numerous art exhibitions and a variety of other events. She is pleased to accept commissions, teach art classes and workshops, and paint  for special occasions.
