Painting with Alcohol Inks with Mary Wojciechowski

This is day two of a two day workshop. The June 1st class will focus on instruction for intermediate/advanced students . Students may sign up for this session alone, or both sessions, with a reduced rate for both classes. (Please call the gallery to sign up for both classes). Class description:

During each five-hour workshop students will explore the unique qualities of alcohol ink and how it may be used for flowing abstracted works or with representational images added. This INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED WORKSHOP is designed to build upon prior experience, to learn more advanced techniques using this medium and to work in a larger format, if desired. Advanced attention to design and color will be emphasized and opportunities to create florals or landscapes using brushwork will be included for those who wish. In each session, class time will be divided between demonstrations of the unique possibilities in painting with this medium and for personal exploration. The workshop will end with a critique allowing participants to share their paintings and to discuss what they have discovered. $7 Supply Fee each class
