Take advantage of the transparency of resin and the reflection of light off metal to make gorgeous, glowing jewelry. We will be using UV resin in class, although this technique will work with any resin. This type of resin requires no mixing, cures with UV light or sunlight, and is much easier to work with than standard 2-part resins. You can make several pendants and try different transparent images with gold, silver or copper metal leaf. You can even stack images together in transparent layers to give it more dimension. We’ll also explore layering multiple images, and adding other materials like pearls or stones to your piece. This is a great starting point for anyone who wants to try resin or making jewelry. No experience needed.
