Victoria Bishop is a U.S.-based watercolor artist known for her vivid abstract style that embraces the natural flow of watercolor paint. A self-taught artist with a background in classical music, she channels emotional storytelling into her art, allowing colors to take the place of her voice.Inspired by artists like Alice Benvie Gebhart, David R. Daniels and Keiko Tanabe, and musicians like Margo Garrett, Debussy and Mozart, her work invites personal interpretation, hoping viewers experience the same expressive joy and wonder she feels while creating.An active board member of the Wickford Art Association, Victoria also is a member with the Rhode Island Watercolor Society, South County Art Association and the Portsmouth Arts Guild. She is also a Juried Artist Member at the Wickford Art Association. Her work has been showcased at the Wickford Art Festival, the Scituate Art Festival, the Narragansett Art Festival and numerous juried shows across New England, earning recognition for her expressive and dynamic pieces. Victoria also leads workshops sharing her joy of watercolors.
