Lisa O’BrienBiographyLisa has always had creativity in her life. Always drawing as a kid and taking art classes all through high school and college. She worked in advertising and graphic design at a magazine in Boston before raising her three children. She went back to school to get her teaching license and was a middle school art teacher in MA for 13 years. She holds a Masters of Visual Art Education from Framingham University and an undergrad degree from Providence College. Lisa and her husband Kevin just moved from MA to RI full time. They love being close to the ocean and love their new town of Narragansett.Lisa loves teaching art to all ages. Her classes usually have music, laughter and the occasional dance party! She is a member of the Wickford Art Association and regularly takes classes. She also takes classes online to improve her skills and is on her way to Florence Italy for an art workshop focusing on the figure in oils.
