In this relaxed, hands-on workshop, I guide you step-by-step through creating your own geometric string art piece on a prepared 8×8 wood panel. After selecting seven thread colors for seven layered passes, you’ll learn simple techniques and tips to build a striking design while exploring color and pattern. With chill background music setting the tone, the class encourages a calm, creative atmosphere where the
process becomes almost meditative. I’ll be there throughout to help you over the learning curve and support you at every step. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a finished piece and the skills to continue experimenting with string art.
Materials Supplied by Instructor:
20cm x 20cm/~8in x 8in, 3/4″ Wood board, painted, varnished, and pre-set
design with nails hammered in.
Over 300 colored metallic polyester threads to choose from and white glow-
in-the-dark polyester thread.
Optional acrylic paint for nail heads & hanging fasteners to install at
home.
