This workshop is designed for artists of all levels to develop skills with colored pencils. It begins with an overview of different types of colored pencils and continues with creating art from still-life  setups typical of springtime and various reference photos. The focus will be on techniques for drawing, blending, and layering colors.

Participants will use wax-based or your choice of colored pencils for contour drawing and mixing colors. We’ll sample the techniques to enhance shading, value skills, perspective, and favorite drawings. Gain confidence as you progress and create art. The workshop also covers highlights, shadows, and depth in artwork. Skills acquired will support future two-dimensional art classes.

Suitable for both new and experienced artists aiming to expand their understanding and work with new techniques.
