Create Your Own Travel and Inspirational Journals with Victoria Bishop

In this relaxing and creative workshop, participants will make two unique watercolor journals—both designed to be easy on the hands with no sewing, gluing, or binding required.
You’ll start by transforming a full sheet of professional watercolor paper into a folded travel journal, a clever, no-fuss design that becomes a 5”x7” handmade sketchbook when complete—perfect for capturing sketches, color notes, or travel memories on the go. Next, we’ll create a smaller pre-painted art and inspiration book, painting colorful watercolor backgrounds on 8×11″ paper during class. This book can be used later as an art book, or as a place for doodles, journaling, or encouraging phrases that inspire creativity.
Both books are simple, beautiful, and completely handmade—ideal for travelers, artists, and anyone who loves expressive color and creative journaling without complicated tools or strain.
Materials Provided by Instructor (Materials Fee $10 * paid to instructor)
– One full sheet of professional watercolor paper
– 8×11″ paper for the smaller journal
– Watercolor paints for washes
– Shared brushes and tools
Optional: Participants are welcome to bring their favorite watercolors, scissors, or a folding tool if they prefer to use their own.
