WAA Extends Closure in response to COVID-19/Coronavirus Pandemic
As we continue to monitor the COVID-19/Coronavirus crisis across the country, WAA has determined our gallery closure will continue through Sunday- April 12. We will reassess re-opening based on the advice and insights provided by state and federal health authorities and in consideration of the health and welfare of our staff, members, students, faculty, volunteers, and visitors.
All remaining Winter/Early Spring Classes have been rescheduled to May and June unless instructors have announced alternate plans for Virtual Classrooms. All students have received details by email.
For the benefit of current March Into Art exhibitors, we have launched a VIRTUAL GALLERY of works, to access click HERE and please share through your social media networks. We ask that all early collection of work (prior to April 13) and regular collection of work (on April 13 & 14) occur BY APPOINTMENT; for details click HERE.
WAA plans to proceed with our next exhibit Fur, Feathers, Fins through BY APPOINTMENT registration beginning April 14 and to exhibit by VIRTUAL GALLERY regardless of the official date of the gallery re-opening. For further details, click HERE. Also, the Call for Poems and Art Portfolios for Poetry & Art have both been extended to April 15 (Poetry) and April 30 (Art); details HERE.
