Learn To See: A Photography Scavenger Hunt for Adults combines the fun of a scavenger hunt with photography instruction. A photo scavenger hunt is an amazing way to improve your ability to look for objects in nature. Adding the element of photography is a fun and refreshing way to see and learn how to photograph nature.
There are two goals for this class. The first is to find specific objects or views within the landscape. Secondly, finding a fun way to think about composition and creative photography while taking your picture. In this class, you will learn how to see objects so that their use becomes more natural in your photography.
In the first week, we’ll be in an indoor classroom to go over the “creative photo idea” list, along with some basic camera instructions if needed. During the four offsite weeks, we will visit different locations for each class. During the 2.5-hour class, you will find listed “objects” and make photographs. There will also be a weekly 15-minute review of each student’s work via phone.
