Creating paper sculpture! Pick your favorite style of footwear in this class and you’ll be able to create in handmade paper a pair of shoes that will be a knock out artwork for your home or as a gift for a lucky somebody! After choosing from heels, cowboy boots or high top sneakers you’ll learn the techniques of taking beaten plant fiber to “pull” sheets that are applied to the forms. In class 2 the shoe is removed from the dried cast paper and decorated. Not only stunning, they can be functional as bookends, doorstops, and unique containers!
