Bringing The Outdoors Inside with Richard Coren

Everyone loves plein air painting but winters in Rhode Island make painting outdoors very difficult. In this class, painters will learn how to bring the outdoors inside by utilizing their own photographs to provide subject matter for painting. Students will learn what to look for while taking photographs and we’ll then create oil paintings in the studio from those photographs. Demonstrations, technique advice and critiques throughout the painting process will aid students in creating their own paintings.
This class is perfect for both beginners and advanced painters, as Richard will be providing advice and instruction throughout the painting process.
