Monotype is a painterly medium! The effects achieved with gel monotypes are not usually possible in other forms of art. The artist can use a unique combination of printing and painting which can create one-of-a-kind artworks. There are endless abstract and realistic possibilities so one can produce imaginative works.

This class will concentrate on botanical monoprints using gel plates. We will concentrate on using botanicals and other natural objects to create beautiful monoprints. There will be sample plants to choose from or you can bring your own!
