ANNUAL Raffle to support WAA Scholarships – “Raffle of Fine Art”
Since 1962, Wickford Art Association has annually awarded scholarships to outstanding students in the community. In order to fund the awards, artists generously donate their fine art for a Raffle at the annual summer Wickford Art Festival. The raffle allows WAA to provide substantial Scholarship Program awards to 5 public high school students attending college the following fall provided by Wickford Art and our collaborative partner RIAEA – Rhode Island Art Education Association. The Scholarship program awards help offset students’ college expenses, allowing them to focus on their continued studies in art.
