Scholarship Program’s Raffle of Fine Art

WAA Annual Scholarship Program’s “Raffle of Fine Art”
Since 1962, Wickford Art Association has annually awarded scholarships to outstanding students in the community. In order to fund the awards, artists generously donate their fine art which is then raffled on Sunday, July 8th, 4 PM at the Wickford Art Festival. The WAA Scholarship Program awards $5,000 to 3 public high school students attending college the following fall. WAA awards will help offset students’ college expenses, allowing them to focus on their studies and art.

Please support this worthy cause by buying raffle tickets: winners do not need to be present in order to win. Please stop in our gallery or contact us if you would like to purchase tickets before the Wickford Art Festival. Tickets have also been mailed to our membership – please support these talented students! Raffle artwork is hanging in the gallery and in North Kingstown’s Municipal Building at 100 Fairway Drive.
During the Festival, visit our information booth on Updike Park (corner of Brown and West Main) to see the donated artwork and scoop up your tickets!

Support the Scholarship Fund – Individual and Corporate Support
Cash donations are welcome to directly support the Annual Scholarship Fund! Your donation offers students the opportunity to pursue art as their career through higher education. Individuals and businesses contribute the overwhelming majority of philanthropic support to the Annual Scholarship Fund. Help students benefit from the impact that higher education can have on personal artistic development.
