Students will learn various techniques for creating layered letterpress prints using wooden type and vintage papers and ways to replicate the letterpress look on a gelliplate. \nStudents will be inspired by the close examination of abstract as students learn composition\, color balance\, and layering techniques for collage using the prints they’ve created. By the end of this workshop\, you will have a collection of collages that combine vintage materials with unique letterpress prints.
