DESCRIPTION:Real Flowers\, Only Painted with Patricia D’Ambra \nMondays\, July 6\, 13\, 20\, 27 Aug 3\, 10 from 1:00-4:00 PM (6 classes) \nIntermediate to Advanced Levels Only \nIn this workshop\, students will explore the art of painting flowers with realistic detail and dynamic\, eye‑catching composition. We’ll focus on creating striking contrast between vivid\, delicate blooms and their surrounding environment while thoughtfully considering all supporting elements of the design. \nEmphasis will be placed on mastering light\, color\, shadow\, and reflection to bring each piece to life. Students will also be guided through a range of advanced watercolor techniques\, including: \n\nWorking with a limited palette\nColor mixing\nWet‑on‑wet and dry‑on‑dry applications\nUsing masking fluid\nBuilding values and glazing\nLifting techniques\nSplattering and salt textures\nNegative painting\nScraping\nCreating realistic water droplets\n\nThis class is designed to deepen technical skill while encouraging expressive\, confident painting. \nMATERIALS LIST \n$220 Members | $250 Non-members +$5 Materials Fee to Instructor \nCLASS REGISTRATION – CURRENT MEMBERS \nCLASS REGISTRATION – NON-MEMBERS
