This class is an introduction to using pastels outdoors in spring. Using the techniques of the impressionist painters, we will work to capture the changing light effects of nature. When the weather permits, we will paint on the beach by WAA. On bad weather days we will paint in the gallery either from new photos or to finish paintings started outside. The class will include demonstrations and individual critique. Students of all abilities are welcome.
