Tuesdays, January 19 – February 9
6:30 to 8:30 PM (4 classes)
Have you been so frustrated by your digital camera’s manual that you rely on automatic? And you had such high hopes for the images you were going to make! Fret no more, join Cindy and learn about digital photography from the very foundations at an appropriate social distance – on the Zoom platform! Each camera is unique. The class begins with learning how the camera sees, exposure through ISO, aperture and shutter speed, focusing techniques and creative vision. You will learn to use your digital camera’s settings, menus, dials and buttons. Finally, our class will look at composition techniques to make your photos more pleasing to look at, the way you saw them through your lens. There will be in class instruction with slide shows to visually accompany Cindy’s presentations, homework assignments and slide show discussion of your practice. Being stuck in your own home or backyard is a great way to learn to use your camera.
Whether a beginner or a refresher, you will learn in this four class online series. Class size limited to 8 students.
