Composition describes the placement of relative objects and elements in a work of art. The use of composition is a way of guiding the viewer’s eye to see the entire work of art and not just a small part of it. Therefore, composition is a key aspect of a good work of art. This is an element that every photographer and artist needs to give a great deal of attention toward.

This workshop covers the basic rules of composition and how to use them to help you create more interesting and compelling images, paintings, watercolors, etchings, or whatever your chosen medium is. Better understanding composition is immensely valuable whether you are a budding artist or photographer as well as those who have been honing their craft for many years. Of course, I also cover what not to do.
