Each summer artists and art lovers enjoy New England’s #1 outdoor fine arts festival set on the streets of historic Wickford Village. Eclectic shops and classic homes line the streets as visitors stroll through the seaside village, meeting the artists and seeking out exceptional artwork to admire and purchase. Fine art media include oil, acrylic, mixed media, glass, drawing, etching, sculpture (metal, clay, wood, etc.), photography, modern ink, and fiber.  Wickford is a "walking-friendly" village that makes it easy for families, the elderly and handicapped persons to enjoy the festival.

Rhode Island is fast becoming the ultimate creative community – the “State of the Arts” – and is the first state in the nation to make the sale of fine art tax-free!

Stop by our Scholarship Fund tent to purchase Scholarship Raffle tickets and help fund next year’s Scholarship winners! Be sure to visit this year’s winners, who will be exhibiting their work as part of their prize.

There is plenty of local food to savor at Wickford’s several restaurants, the First Baptist Church and St. Paul’s Church (both on Main Street), and other food vendors located in the town parking lot. Parking is available at Wilson Park on West Main Street and the former Wickford Elementary School on Phillips Street with a free shuttle (handy if you buy a big piece of artwork). Handicapped parking is available in the town parking lot. Check out the Festival Program for restaurant, restroom, church, and parking locations.

Although Wickford is a dog-friendly community, we advise leaving your dog at home during the festival. If you do bring Spot along, please consider the day’s temperature, humidity, possible hot sidewalks, and large crowds. All animals must be leashed, picked up after, and up-to-date on vaccinations. There is also the danger of dogs urinating on low-hanging art work, people tripping on leashes, or people being knocked down by overly friendly or aggressive dogs. Animals must not be left in vehicles. Wickford loves dogs but safety and courtesy first!

Wickford Village is located in North Kingstown, RI just 30 minutes from Providence, 20 minutes from Newport, and 1 hour from CT and MA.

Situated on Narragansett Bay, scenic Wickford is easy to reach via major highways, by bus, by Amtrak (Amtrak PVD code), and from nearby airports (T.F. Green, Quonset, and Westerly).

Wickford Village is accessible by boat via Narragansett Bay, and transient docking is available in Wickford
Harbor marinas.
